We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations and this data protection policy. CHEMBIONET is a data controller within the meaning of § 3 para. 7 of the Federal Data Protection Act (“BDSG”) and the controller within the meaning of Art. 4 No. 7 of EU Regulation 2016/679 (“GDPR”). References to the BDSG are only valid until the GDPR comes into force, after that only the references to the DSGVO are valid. 

The use of our website is generally possible without providing personal data. To the extent as personal data (e. g. name, address or e-mail addresses) are collected on our pages, this is always done on a voluntary basis. This data will not be passed on to third parties without your express consent. 

We would like to point out that data transmission via the Internet (e. g. communication by e-mail) can have security gaps. A complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.

Server log files

We reserve the right to check this data at a later date if we become aware of specific indications of illegal use.

Information, deletion, blocking

In accordance with § 34 BDSG or Art. 15 GDPR, you have the right to request information about the data stored with us, in accordance with § 35 Para. 1 BDSG or Art. 16 GDPR to demand the correction of incorrect data and, in accordance with § 35 Paragraph 2 BDSG and Art. 17 GDPR, to demand the deletion or, in accordance with § 35 Paragraph 3 BDSG and Art. 18 GDPR, the blocking or limitation of the processing of data. Furthermore, in accordance with Article 21 of the GDPR, you have the right to object to the processing of your data, provided that the reason for the objection arises from your particular situation and that the data is processed in order to protect one of our interests worthy of protection.

If we process your personal data on the basis of your consent, you can revoke this consent at any time without giving reasons under the contact information below with effect for the future.

If you are of the opinion that we do not process your personal data in accordance with the statutory regulations, you have a right of appeal to a competent supervisory authority in accordance with Art. 77 GDPR.
