CHEMBIONET takes the protection of your personal data very serious. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations and this data protection policy. CHEMBIONET is a data controller within the meaning of § 3 para. 7 of the Federal Data Protection Act (“BDSG”) and the controller within the meaning of Art. 4 No. 7 of EU Regulation 2016/679 (“GDPR”). References to the BDSG are only valid until the GDPR comes into force, after that only the references to the DSGVO are valid.
The use of our website is generally possible without providing personal data. To the extent as personal data (e. g. name, address or e-mail addresses) are collected on our pages, this is always done on a voluntary basis. This data will not be passed on to third parties without your express consent.
We would like to point out that data transmission via the Internet (e. g. communication by e-mail) can have security gaps. A complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.
Server log files
We automatically collect and store information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:

- Operating system used
- Referrer URL
- Host name of the accessing computer
- Time of the server request.
This information is necessary to enable you to view our website and the services it provides, and to allow you to use the website.
These data cannot be attributed to specific persons. This data is not combined with other data sources. The processing of this data for the above-mentioned purpose is required in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f) GDPR for the protection of our legitimate interests, namely the usability of our website.
We will delete this information as soon as it is no longer required for your use of the website.
This data is stored by us on our servers in Germany and is not passed on to third parties.
We reserve the right to check this data at a later date if we become aware of specific indications of illegal use.
Information, deletion, blocking
In accordance with § 34 BDSG or Art. 15 GDPR, you have the right to request information about the data stored with us, in accordance with § 35 Para. 1 BDSG or Art. 16 GDPR to demand the correction of incorrect data and, in accordance with § 35 Paragraph 2 BDSG and Art. 17 GDPR, to demand the deletion or, in accordance with § 35 Paragraph 3 BDSG and Art. 18 GDPR, the blocking or limitation of the processing of data. Furthermore, in accordance with Article 21 of the GDPR, you have the right to object to the processing of your data, provided that the reason for the objection arises from your particular situation and that the data is processed in order to protect one of our interests worthy of protection.
If we process your personal data on the basis of your consent, you can revoke this consent at any time without giving reasons under the contact information below with effect for the future.
If you are of the opinion that we do not process your personal data in accordance with the statutory regulations, you have a right of appeal to a competent supervisory authority in accordance with Art. 77 GDPR.
Cookies
Some of the Internet pages use so-called cookies. Cookies do not damage your computer and contain no viruses. Cookies are used to make our website more user-friendly, effective and secure. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and saved by your browser. Most of the cookies we use are so-called “session cookies”. They are automatically deleted at the end of your visit. Other cookies remain stored on your mobile device until you delete them. These cookies enable us to recognize your browser the next time you visit our website.
